VHF AND UHF RECEPTION

This VCR can receive analog VHF and UHF broadcast channels. Once the television standard these frequency allocations served the nations television needs. VHF, which stands for Very High Frequency, and UHF for Ultra High Frequency are still in use today but mostly for two way radio communication and special applications other than television (although some analog television broadcasting is being done on a local low wattage basis). Digital broadcasting has taken the place of analog but the tuner in this VCR can still be used by employing a converter that will change the incoming signal to either VHF channel 3 or 4.
