This multi-format Betamax will play and record the multitude of television standards found all around the world. Including SEACAM, PAL, and NTSC. It lets you ignore national borders and use whatever TV standard a country uses. It breaks the chains of both video system and voltage requirements. What it doesn't do is convert it to whatever standard your monitor requires or another country's TV standard. For that you need a specialized system converter that can send out the kind video signal you need. They are readily available and usually export PAL or NTSC. The one shown above is very versatile and accommodates almost every input and outputs the two most common standards.
